Thankyou for dropping by. My name is William and since you are visiting, it is probably because you or a friend have lower back pains. Well, you can rest assured that you are not alone. In fact, a vast majority of your neighbors also have experienced back 'problems' at one time or another.
Before we get too much further into this, let me state for the record that I am not a specialist or doctor of anything. What I am is a handball and racquetball player (for almost 30 years): two sports almost guaranteed to give a person back difficulty. I also have a habit of lifting and moving large and cumbersome mechanical gadgets. My back expertise comes from the school of Trial and Error, and a lot of research over a period of more than 20 years.
When my back problems started, they were at first minor and I would attribute them to strain. But as I grew older (I am now 56), they would pop up without warning and for no apparent reason. My many discussions with friends disclosed that they also had 'bad' backs. Some had genuine medical problems, but quite a few were in pain and misery because they 'overdid it'. And the cure? Visit a chiropractor at $50 a pop and have the back adjusted. And for all that, sometimes even this didn't work.
So you think that I am going to give you an instant cure for your back pain? Dream on. What I have compiled and edited, is a list of suggestions, some of which may seem obvious, but that people like yourselves might possibly overlook. Actually, my ideas may even alter your lifestyle a teeny bit.
